Beechen Cliff School is closely associated with the Tir-y-Cwm Trust which owns this isolated cottage in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
Tir y Cwm provides people of all ages with the chance to grow in confidence and to take responsibility for looking after themselves. It has been a source of happy and exciting memories for many Beechen Cliff staff and pupils. Life at the cottage is basic but reasonably comfortable. The dormitory accommodation for up to 30 with additional covered sleeping areas.
The site and surrounding area is ideal for Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award training, or other similar courses, or for just individual and group stays. The moors, hills, forests and streams provide opportunities for personal and social development and training through experience of challenging outdoor activities.
